The mission of First Assembly Ministries is "Calling
Collier County to Christ through the Great Commission
and the Great Commandment to all people at all times,
by all means."
God has given us the opportunity to
reach a growing community on Collier Boulevard where once
stood only shrubs and trees. He has blessed us with outreach
ministries that are critically needed and expanding. The
transforming presence of Jesus Christ has made eternal
changes in the lives of many people and families who now
call First Assembly Ministries home.

These are nonnegotiable tenets of faith that all Assemblies
of God churches adhere to. This list is derived from the
official Statement of Fundamental Truths by the First
Assemblies of God.
1. WE BELIEVE...The Scriptures are Inspired by God and
declare His design and plan for mankind.
2. WE BELIEVE...There is only One True God-revealed
in three persons...Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (commonly
known as the Trinity).
3. WE BELIEVE...In the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ.
As God's son Jesus was both human and divine.
4. WE BELIEVE...though originally good, Man Willingly
Fell to Sin-ushering evil and death, both physical and
spiritual, into the world.
5. WE BELIEVE...Every Person Can Have Restored Fellowship
with God Through 'Salvation' (accepting Christ's offer
of forgiveness for sin). [1 of 4 cardinal doctrines of
the A/G]
6. WE BELIEVE...and practice two ordinances-(1) Water
Baptism by Immersion after repenting of one's sins and
receiving Christ's gift of salvation, and (2) Holy Communion
(the Lord's Supper) as a symbolic remembrance of Christ's
suffering and death for our salvation.
7. WE BELIEVE...the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a
Special Experience Following Salvation that empowers believers
for witnessing and effective service, just as it did in
New Testament times. [1 of 4 cardinal doctrines of the
A/G]
8. WE BELIEVE... The Initial Physical Evidence of the
Baptism in the Holy Spirit is 'Speaking in Tongues,' as
experienced on the Day of Pentecost and referenced throughout
Acts and the Epistles.
9. WE BELIEVE...Sanctification Initially Occurs at Salvation
and is not only a declaration that a believer is holy,
but also a progressive lifelong process of separating
from evil as believers continually draw closer to God
and become more Christlike.
10. WE BELIEVE...The Church has a Mission to seek and
save all who are lost in sin. We believe 'the Church'
is the Body of Christ and consists of the people who,
throughout time, have accepted God's offer of redemption
(regardless of religious denomination) through the sacrificial
death of His son Jesus Christ.
11. WE BELIEVE...A Divinely Called and Scripturally
Ordained Leadership Ministry Serves the Church. The Bible
teaches that each of us under leadership must commit ourselves
to reach others for Christ, to worship Him with other
believers, and to build up or edify the body of believers-the
Church.
12. WE BELIEVE...Divine Healing of the Sick is a Privilege
for Christians Today and is provided for in Christ's atonement
(His sacrificial death on the cross for our sins). [1
of 4 cardinal doctrines of the A/G]
13. WE BELIEVE...in The Blessed Hope-When Jesus Raptures
His Church Prior to His Return to Earth (the second coming).
At this future moment in time all believers who have died
will rise from their graves and will meet the Lord in
the air, and Christians who are alive will be caught up
with them, to be with the Lord forever. [1 of 4 cardinal
doctrines of the A/G]
14. WE BELIEVE...in The Millennial Reign of Christ when
Jesus returns with His saints at His second coming and
begins His benevolent rule over earth for 1,000 years.
At that time many in the nation of Israel will recognize
and accept Him as the Messiah, the Savior who died for
them and all mankind.
15. WE BELIEVE...A Final Judgment Will Take Place for
those who have rejected Christ. They will be judged for
their sin and consigned to eternal punishment in a punishing
lake of fire.
16. WE BELIEVE...and look forward to the perfect New
Heavens and a New Earth that Christ is preparing for all
people, of all time, who have accepted Him. We will live
and dwell with Him there forever following His millennial
reign on Earth. 'And so shall we forever be with the Lord!'

David Mallory has been serving as senior pastor of First Assembly Ministries, Naples since 1988. He is married to Rebecca, who works with him in the ministry. They do not define the ministry by what they do, but by who they are. To them it is not a job, but a wonderful life calling. God richly blessed them with 3 wonderful boys. The oldest, J.D. Mallory, is serving as co-pastor of First Assembly Ministries, here in Naples, FL. The middle son, Daniel, is a lawyer and serves as a VP of the national real estate division of Wal-Mart. Their youngest son, Joshua, passed away at the age of 15. He had aspired to be a missionary pilot. There are now 5 grandchildren in Pastor Mallory's life. He is a devoted family man and lives out what he teaches… to put God first, family second and then ministry to others.
Pastor Mallory was raised in a truly Christian home. Not only was his family involved in ministry, but their lives reflected the love of Christ. David was planning on becoming a commercial airline pilot. At the age of 20 God had different plans and called him into full time ministry. Although this was not his choice, he surrendered to God and experienced the blessing that comes with obedience. David attended Bible College in Peterborugh, Ontario, Canada. After graduation he served as youth pastor in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. While on a road trip to a conference in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, he was given an overwhelming burden for the lost and hurting of that area. He developed a ministry called DIAL FOR LIFE. Along with a chapel on the beach, this outreach touched hundreds of lives. Those who were suicidal, addicted, lonely, depressed or just needed someone to talk to would call and learn of the love of the Lord Jesus Christ. Those early days solidified a compassion and determination to always provide ministry to the hurting society. As Pastor Mallory moved on to pastor churches in Miami, Florida, Ajax, Ontario and Moncton, New Brunswick, he made sure outreach centers were provided for the needy. When David responded to the call to Naples, Florida, he came to a hurting church that had gone through some difficult times. With little money and few people, God began to move. Today, First Assembly Ministries is a vibrant, alive church, proclaiming that “… with God… all things are made possible”.
Pastor Mallory is a man of vision and is truly committed to the mission statement of “Calling Collier County to Christ through the Great Commission and the Great Commandment, to all people, at all times, by all means”. His strong Biblical preaching/teaching not only challenges the listener but gives room for the convicting power of the Holy Spirit to draw men and women to the foot of the cross. This ministry does not stop there, however, and that is what makes First Assembly unique. Pastor Mallory has a way of making people feel loved and important. He encourages each person to use their God given gifts, because of the many outreach ministries; there is always opportunity to serve. This develops a strong sense of being a real part of the family of God, connected and needed. First Assembly is often referred to as a “real church for real people”. This is possible because Pastor Mallory allows himself to be just a “real man reaching out to real people with the love of a real Savior”.
