Dr. D. James Kennedy is Founder and President of Evangelism Explosion International, Inc. More than three decades ago, he started a church in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and saw it grow from 17 to over 2,000 members in just 12 years, using the Biblical principles now being taught in Evangelism Explosion(EE).
It is purposely designed to never supplant any denominational distinctive or ministries. It will enhance and support all other work in the church. Over 200 denominations are using it in their churches as an effective evangelism tool. The training is built around the New Testament example of on-the-job training.
EE is uniquely an on-the-job, hands-on training ministry. The combination of a simple but clear Gospel presentation and actual witnessing experiences with a trainer gradually brings a “trainee” to confidently and effectively share their faith which leads to training others to do the same. This produces multiplication. EE training has transformed thousands of lives all over the world.
