Global University's Berean School of the Bible offers non-degree level courses through distance learning. These programs are ideal for personal study and enrichment as well as for ministerial and church leadership training. Berean School of the Bible courses are Bible centered both in content and in application. It is our hope that through study centers students will be encouraged to discover practical ways to apply their lessons rather than simply gaining head knowledge. Group study is an excellent way to encourage comprehensive Bible study, a practice often neglected even by those who read their Bibles regularly. It also creates a setting for students to encourage each other as they daily live out their lessons.
When people study through Berean School of the Bible in a church or neighborhood-related group, they:
- learn with a nationally recognized educational program
- are guided by courses of study prepared by competent writers who are recognized for their commitment, experience, and understanding of the Word of God
- share in stimulating and guided class discussions led by an approved facilitator
- receive helpful study guides and examinations that assist study between class sessions
- pay lower enrollment fees because of group discounts
- New student enrollment fee: a one time charge to students who have never before taken a Berean School of the Bible course
- Exam replacement fee: charged when an exam is lost
- Exam retake fee: charged when a student has failed an exam one time. If a student fails the exam a second time, he/she must wait three months before being eligible to reenroll in the course. (Reenrolling entails paying an additional tuition charge for the course)
Berean School of the Bible offers non-degree level courses. These courses are good both for ministry preparation and for personal enrichment. Non-degree level work will not transfer to most colleges. If you have students that are interested in college undergraduate or graduate level work, you should contact us for the appropriate information.
“Credits” at the non-degree level are given as Continuing Education Credits (CEU's). CEU's are not the same as undergraduate “credits”.
Global University is accredited by the accrediting commission of the Distance Education and Training Council (DETC), which is a member of the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
